Spiritual health is more than just feeling good; it’s having a sound heart and mind that helps us to make decisions and to function under unusual stress. The COVID-19 pandemic is not the first crisis we’ve ever faced in our lives, and it won’t be the last. It is “Trial Number Next.” Trials are temporary vehicles carrying lessons.

Just as poor physical hygiene can harm our health, poor spiritual habits can weaken us unnecessarily. We may not always have great physical health, but we can improve our spiritual health. We need spiritual health at all times, but especially in a crisis. Let’s look at four verses from the book of Proverbs that will guide us in maintaining or improving our spiritual health.
